axial flow pump

Our Axial Flow Pump is a specialized hydraulic solution engineered to deliver high-volume fluid transfer with exceptional efficiency. Designed for applications requiring substantial flow rates at low to moderate heads, this pump is ideal for scenarios where water, wastewater, or other low-viscosity fluids need to be moved quickly and reliably.

equipment introduction

Our axial flow pump is engineered to deliver high-volume fluid transfer with exceptional efficiency, making it ideal for applications requiring rapid movement of liquids over short distances. Designed for scenarios demanding low head, high flow performance, this pump excels in irrigation, drainage, cooling systems, and industrial fluid circulation where maintaining a consistent flow rate is critical.

Efficient Propeller Design: Features a streamlined propeller-style impeller that moves fluid axially, parallel to the pump shaft, maximizing flow capacity while minimizing energy consumption.

High Flow Rates: Capable of handling large volumes of fluid, making it suitable for irrigation, drainage, and industrial cooling systems.

Low Head Performance: Optimized for applications where fluid needs to be moved over short distances or against minimal resistance.

Customizable Configurations: Available in various sizes, materials, and motor options to meet specific project requirements.

Robust Construction: Built with durable materials such as cast iron, stainless steel, or specialized alloys to withstand harsh environments and corrosive fluids.

Easy Maintenance: Designed with accessible components and simplified disassembly for quick servicing and reduced downtime.

Benefits

  • Energy Savings: Lower power consumption compared to centrifugal pumps in low-head applications.

  • Cost-Effective: Reduced maintenance and longer service life.

  • Environmentally Friendly: Minimized carbon footprint through efficient operation.

  • Reliable Performance: Continuous, stable flow with minimal downtime.

Working Principle

An axial flow pump operates by directing fluid parallel to the pump shaft, unlike centrifugal pumps that use radial force. Its propeller-style impeller—featuring curved blades with a pitch angle optimized for fluid dynamics—generates a lifting force as it rotates, accelerating fluid axially through the casing. This design excels at high flow rates (up to 10,000 m³/h) and low heads (<15 meters), making it ideal for applications like irrigation, drainage, and cooling systems. Guide vanes downstream of the impeller reduce turbulence, improving efficiency by converting kinetic energy into pressure. Axial pumps are valued for their energy efficiency (up to 90%) and continuous, low-maintenance operation.
