Tap water booster pump station

Suitable for non-negative pressure water supply booster pump stations in urban and rural water supply networks across various scenarios, including towns (enterprises and residential communities), rural areas, and other environments for both production and domestic water use.

Introduction to Air Flotation Machine Equipment

Our Tap Water Booster Pump Station is a meticulously engineered, turnkey solution designed to address the critical challenge of inadequate water pressure across diverse environments. This state-of-the-art system seamlessly integrates advanced hydraulic technology with intelligent controls to deliver consistent, reliable pressure—even in complex networks with fluctuating demand.

Crafted for residential complexes, commercial facilities, and industrial applications, our booster station features:

  • Modular Design: Configurable to scale from small apartments to high-rise buildings, factories, or municipal water grids.

  • Smart Pressure Control: Maintains ±0.01 MPa accuracy using variable frequency drives (VFDs) and real-time sensors, minimizing energy waste.

  • Redundancy & Reliability: Parallel pump configurations with automatic alternation ensure continuous operation, even during maintenance.

  • Remote Monitoring: PLC systems with IoT connectivity enable 24/7 performance tracking and predictive maintenance alerts.

Working Principle

A tap water booster pump station enhances water pressure in distribution networks through a closed - loop control system that balances demand with supply. Here’s how it operates:

1. Pressure Sensing & Activation

  • Pressure Transmitters continuously monitor inlet water pressure from the main supply line.

  • When pressure drops below the setpoint (e.g., 0.3 MPa), the control panel triggers the booster pumps.

2. Pump Operation & Flow Control

  • Centrifugal Pumps (single or multiple in parallel) use rotating impellers to accelerate water, converting kinetic energy into pressure.

  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) adjust pump speed to match real - time demand, maintaining ±0.01 MPa pressure accuracy.

  • Flow Meters ensure the system delivers between 10–6000 m³/h, scaling pump output as needed.

3. Pressure Regulation

  • The PID Controller fine - tunes pump operation to maintain a steady 0.2–4.0 MPa head, compensating for leaks or blockages.

  • Surge Protection Valves prevent water hammer during pump start/stop cycles.

4. Safety & Monitoring

  • PLC Automation manages pump sequences, filter alerts, and emergency shutdowns.

  • Remote Sensors detect temperature (5°C–40°C), leaks, or power failures.

5. Energy Optimization

  • Multi - Pump Sequencing activates pumps in stages to minimize energy use during low demand.

  • Efficiency Maps ensure pumps operate at peak performance across varying flow rates.
